The annual International Sikh research Conference (ISRC) 2017 highlighted the contribution of scholars to the study of Sikh studies.
Convened by Gurinder Singh Mann and Harjinder Singh Lallie at the University of Warwick, a number of researchers from around the world shared their unique contributions to the study of Sikhism through a wide range of papers. With contributions from scholars from Canada, Ireland, India and Pakistan as well as seasoned scholars from the UK.
The Sikh Museum Initiative was in attendance with the first outing of the Anglo Sikh Wars pop up exhibition. It was a great success with a wide range of participating appreciating the story of the Anglo Sikh Wars. The Tribune India newspaper also picked up our contribution to the conference. Special thanks to Taran Singh and Manjinder Singh for undertaking the photography.
